| Nextra is pleased to offer you the opportunity to work towards
nationally recognised qualifications. The structure of the qualifications
allows you to train in your area of specialisation. The qualifications
start with a Certificate II and can progress to a Diploma.
This program is being conducted in partnership with Holmesglen
Institute of TAFE and is structured to allow eligible Nextra employees
to participate.
The qualifications are competency based, which means, those areas
you may already be competent in, you will not have to be trained
in those skills.
As the qualifications are directly related to your work you will
receive on-the-job training for any skills you are not familiar
with.
Trainers from Holmesglen Institute of TAFE and Nextra will provide
this training.
Nextra employees are issued qualifications that identify the level
of training achieved, based on industry and Nextra's competency
standards.
The content of the training resources have been customised to be
in line with Nextra processes and procedures. Therefore as you are
learning the Nextra way of doing things you are also gaining a Nationally
Recognised Qualification. It is a win-win situation for everyone.
